Teaching

Corban is passionate about fostering a love for music in his students instead of simply teaching by rote. A lot of teachers focus excessively on the instrument being taught, instead of focusing on the music. The instrument is a tool for expressing music, and while good technique is important, the real goal is learning how to apply the technique to express yourself. Corban tailors to his students’ individual tastes, using the music they love to teach them how to use the instrument.

He can teach on both mandolin and guitar at all levels, and is available for Skype lessons as well as in person.
